Tours & visits

Daily campus tours

Sign up for a campus tour to learn about the services UVic offers for students and see some of our favourite spots on campus, including faculty buildings, athletics facilities and dining locations. Tours are led by UVic students who love to share their personal experiences with visitors!

Due to COVID-19 and construction, visitors are not able to enter residence buildings at this time.

Daily campus tours are offered Monday through Saturday, from 1:00-2:30 p.m., and are not available on Sundays or statutory holidays.

  • Additional tours may be offered at times of high demand.
  • Tours can be booked up to three months in advance.

COVID-19 precautions

  • Masks are required in all indoor spaces at UVic.
  • Tour capacities are currently limited for the comfort and safety of guests.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

As of December 20, 2021, the Government of BC requires proof of full vaccination (at least two doses) for anyone over the age of 12 attending an indoor organized event. This requirement will be in place until January 31, 2022, and could be extended.

More information is available from the Government of BC: Proof of vaccination and the BC Vaccine Card.
